And this was despite the fact that I hadn't touched the game in 5 years.

Another semi-related: This reminds me of an editorial I read in EGM by Dan Hsu years ago. His Xbox was stolen, but he was more worried about the hard drive and his saves on it than the actual console.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8074451.post-88669133810362970612009-07-13T14:13:17.730-04:002009-07-13T14:13:17.730-04:00backup is the single best feature of the ps3!

At the very least, you should be able to load it directly from your storage device, right?

MookieFL, the sticker on the back claims that it's the same model that I sent them, which was the original, backwards-compatible 60 gb model (CHECHA01 or something like that). I haven't actually tested it yet, though. This isn't a problem if you're getting a larger HD, but it is if you're losing backwards compatibility. Have you checked that yet?MookieFLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08776408529688005481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8074451.post-78282996414941736862009-07-13T09:15:09.308-04:002009-07-13T09:15:09.308-04:00Does anyone understand the logic in copy-protectin...Does anyone understand the logic in copy-protecting save files? Games, music, videos, I can understand, but why save files? Since I construct them through hours and hours of decisions and effort, shouldn't I be entitled to move them if I need to? Especially for games with scores of tedious unlockables like Street Fighter IV. I shouldn't have to beat the game all over & over again on a friend's console if we want to play as Seth...or even Dan.feitclubhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03858635943881534685noreply@blogger.com
