My review of Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law is up now. It was a difficult game to review, because it really is like five interactive episodes of the show. That's a good thing for all the reasons the show is entertaining, but it's not so great from a gameplay perspective. Comparisons to Phoenix Wright are perhaps unfair, but inevitable. The biggest difference between the two is that Phoenix's cases are taken all the way through to surprising and satisfying conclusions, whereas Birdman's go for the abrupt gag. The Birdman game is true to the spirit of the show, but as we've seen from most of the attempts to translate games into movies, it's not always easy to translate from one medium to another. It's just not enough of a game.
And if I can toot my own horn a sec, I'm pretty proud of the closing line to this review.
